This is Tisha’s first year as the president of Solon Spotlight. She was previously a speech-language pathologist with Grant Wood Area Education Agnecy. Theresa Bonnema

Theresa is mom of one former and two current band/choir/drama kids.  She is also the daughter of a former Solon band member (and proud Iowa Hawkeye Fossil Band member).  Once upon a time she was pretty ok at band, but Desmond’s alumni/parent pep band night last year taught her that playing a trumpet is not at all like riding a bike!  She now spends her days as a prosthetist at Hanger Clinic and many of her nights running around to support her kids in the things they love to do, arts and sports alike.  Her favorite things to do are hike, camp or generally spend time outside, and play volleyball.

Hal had been the president for Solon Spotlight for several years before recently turning over the gavel. He grew up in Maquoketa and attended school at the University of Iowa. He has been married for 28 years to his supportive wife, Deanna. He is still heavily involved in the community and still consults on the Solon Spotlight Board.
